THE C ASS OF '47 We, the Class of Forty-Seven, Think our school-days here were heaven, We'll miss our teachers, old and new, And hope that they will miss us, too. Through the passing of the years, Through great laughter and few tears, We will think of V. H. S., And wish we had given it our best. After many years go by, We will heave a mighty sigh, Then in memory we'll return And regain some things we did not learn. We may leave the school house, Leave our friends around us, But always a memory will linger for us Inside the walls of V. H. S.
