HAGGARD ' Director of the School of Nursing Registrar of the College L . 4 l On this page we have two oflicers of administration who are of primary importance 1 in the functioning of the university. They are not deans, but they are of high rank l in Vanderbilt's. roll of ofiicials. MISS BRODIE is director of the School of Nursing, a position corresponding to dean in other departments. She holds a position of authority in instruction as well as adminis- X tration. Her school has advanced considerably under her direction, and so successful l has it been that the Board of Trust at its February meeting decided on an expansion I policy to increase further the value of our School of Nursing. To Miss Brodie directly Q a large part of this credit is due and we wish her all possible good fortune for con- l tinued successes. I MRS. MARY VVEBB HAGGARD, Registrar of the College, is one oliicer of the university l whom every undergraduate knows and is glad to know. For years she has been the 1 godmother to hundreds of Vanderbilt boys in her position as ofhcial go-between of students and the university. She always has a word or a smile for every student and usually a little story or incident of our fathers, uncles or brothers who have known her before us. It doesn't take long to know Mrs. Haggard, but it will take more than a l lifetime for us to forget her. r 5 6 r 2 'Y '1Nfi 2-fx' l I X! v - ,I iff , ...af K' if YQ n I i I l
