Above is the Vanderbilt Hospital which is nearing completion. This mammoth building will be divided into two departments-the hospital and the medical school. The hospital section will contain administration ofhces, staff living quarters, kitchens, various hospital wards and operating rooms. In the medical school section will be located the class rooms of the various departments, a medical library, and various laboratories. The Nurses' Home and Training School shown below will accommodate one hundred nurses. It will con- tain bed rooms, an assembly hall, class rooms, a library, and various other necessary adjuncts-such as a bakery, a meat shop, and a laundry. The training school to be conducted here will have the highest standards of any in the South. The total outlay on both buildings will approximate three million dollars.

Alumni Memorial Hall It will contain the alumni oflice, student organization ofhces, and recreation and lounging rooms for students. It is being erected by the alumni as a memorial to Vanderbilt students who died in the World War. Neely Memorial Auditorium VVhen completed this building will take the place of the old College Hall chapel. It was erected from funds donated by Mrs. G. M, Neely as a memorial to her husband, a former member of the Board of Trust. V .
