'tile VANDEBI LT IZOYACIY AQCLNDQ E The Winter Formal, held on December 30, was a festive gathering of majesty and sorcery woven into the theme of Camelot. The grace and chivalry of olden times was manifested in the portrayal of a rustic castle. Encompassed by pines, the vision created an easy contrast to the simple elegance of the royal thrones awaiting the presentation of the Spirit Court King and Queen. The royal members were among ten couples first nominated, according to classes, by members of the faculty. After secondary eliminations in homerooms, six couples were presented from each class. From these, two couples were chosen .for the court, with a third couple from the Senior class as King and Queen. Their presentation included a solemn procession of court representatives, and the newly crowned Teen King and Queen. And, as all good things must end, the evening came to a reluctant close towards midnight. The enchantment lingered pleasantly in the minds of those who had at- tended.
