Mike Robichaux safe on 2nd as he makes his journey around the bases. Vandebilt's diamond-men closed their successful sea- son by bowing to Rapides 3-0 in the State semi-finals. Overall the Terriers sport a 19-3 season record with an 18-2 record, with a 9-1 mark in district play. In their regular season, the Mighty 9 played two perfect contests in succession against John Curtis and Buras. Three district no-hitters in a row, 35 consecutive scoreless innings and five straight shut-outs against loop foes, which could rewrite the record books. The Terriers took the District title for baseball, add- ing to Vandebilt's four other district titles.
