This is the largest glee club in the history of V.C.l'l.S. and is open to anyone who can emit any musical sounds from her vocal chords. During the year the girls present two pro- grams. The first, l-landel's Messiah, presented on December 14, is given in connection With the Advanced Chorus. The Spring Concert, which was made very effective with the pretty formals and spring flowers, was presented on April 22. BOY i GLEE CLUB For those boys who love to sing, two periods a week are devoted to the singing of old favorites and the learning of new melodies which have catchy little Words and lively tunes. To enter' a room so full of happy singing boys is definite proof that they have found a place where they can let go of their emotions and still accomplish many Worthwhile things. CHORUS Strains of music echoing through the halls during the second hour was conclusive evi- dence that the a capella chorus, directed by Mrs. Kains and accompanied by Pat Richmond, was hard at Work. During the past year the chorus of twenty- four select voices has pleased many assemblies and other audiences. in addition to participat- ing in the Messiah and the Spring Concert, they are called upon for other numerous ap- pearances during the year.
