No doubt the leadership of our Student Coun- cil highlights our memories of this school year as the members working with President Metzger and Sponsor Wells planned, promoted, and ac- complished many Worthwhile activitiesl ln welcoming the freshmen and in sponsoring the first all-school mixer the council enthusie astically began the years activities. Another highlight was the auctioning of the boys at the Leap Year Party. Seriously though, we remember the councils splendid job of patrolling the halls and the Thanksgiving and Christmas programs which put us in a holiday spirit. To promote patriot- ism and a feeling of world brotherhood they sponsored Bed Cross, CABE, and lnfantile Paralysis drives. ln looking toward the council's future five delegates and Mr. Wells attended the state convention at Peoria on April 23 and 24.
