- EXECUTIVE DEPT The Executive Department is comprised of 14 different offices that are responsible for the effic- iency and morale of the crew. It is headed by the ex- ecutive officer. Under the XO , Admin, education, training, per- sonnell. legal, post office, chaplain, library, master- at-arms, print shop, public affairs, ship's secretary, combat cargo officer and 3-M office contribute to form the executive staff which plays a key role in running the ship smoothly.
