The Trappers won the Football Championship-they beat out their friendly rivals, Longview, to go to the State Basketball Tournament-they are doing well in spring sports-their school spirit has been tremendous. l have been so proud of our students in their music, art, scholarship, Career Day, and other activities that at times l could hardly contain myself. Yes, all good things come to an end. This is the last year that Vancouver High will be the one big school in Van- couver. -Mw ' Even though the name may be changed, we will still have the Trappers in this school-we will still have the Alki-and we will still have the fine group of students com- ing who will make Vancouver proud of this organization.
