Three social events followed: The Round Up Mix at which the girls became better acquainted with each other. The Christmas potluck for the cabinet, and the Mardi Gras Tolo which featured a Kangaroo Court. To supplement the loan funds, a Nickel-Pickle sale was held. The Girls' League was well represented at both the fall and spring S. W. Washington Girls' League Conferences, the Student Leaders' Conference at Seattle, and the Student Leaders' Conference at Clark College. Monthly assemblies included the installation ceremony for each semester, speakers, a movie, a student panel on Boy-Girl Relationships, and the Senior Talent Show. On Orientation Day which was the last of the League's activities girls from Shumway and McLoughlin Heights visited the High School and met their Big Sisters at a coke buzz session. S
