Compliments of JOSE RAMIREZ Jose arrived from the Chililand of Mexico three years ago. and joined the very famous Residence of V.C.. He was involved in the wrestling and track teams for sometime, and. also enjoys, water-skiing, skin diving, tennis and good rock music. He hopes to enter the University of Texas in the U.S.A. and through futher study, become an aerospacial engineer. Greetings from Earth. Jose! JOHN O ' NEILL John came to College in grade five from St Anthony ' s in West Van. He has been playing football for the Fighting Irish since grade eight and was last years most improved player for the varsity. When not skiing at Whistler, John also enjoys golfing. Taking first year Arts at U.B.C. is among his future plans. CHARLES EDWARD REEVE Charles came to College in grade 7 from Shaughnessy Elementary. In grade 9. he joined the track team, starting a brilliant long-distance running career, that culminated in breaking the school’s 5000 meter record. Some pretty wild and crazy” guys! ! ! KARL MICHAEL MESZAROS STEWART MUIR SEAN MULLEN Karl arrived at College in grade 7 from Blessed Sacrament. Since then he has made the honor roll twice and hopes to graduate with honors. Although not much of an athlete. Karl enjoys many sports, and has been an active participant in intramurals. He managed the basketball team in grade I I and also plays a lot of golf. Karl hopes to enter an arts program at either U.B.C. or S.F.U next fall. Stewart began at College in grade 5, coming from his home in Point Grey. Since then he has been involved in wrestling, student council, crosscountry running, cheerleading, and other activities too numerous to mention here, all the time maintaining his honour roll marks. Stewart ' s plans for the future are not set. but he eventually hopes to enter university sometime. Sean arrived at College in the Spring of grade 9 from Montreal and was a resident for the remainder of that school year. Sean participated in J.V. football in grade ID. and acquired a letter, and many friends in grades I I and I 2 during his wrestling days at College. Sean has been known to parler francais” in the halls or at least he says he does. Sean plans to travel and then continue his education. 27

NATASAK RODJANAPICHES From Bankok, Thailand, Natasak Rodjanapishes was the first Thai speaking student to roam the hall of V.C. His quiet and sincere personality reflects his attitude towards his studies, and academic goals. For rest and relaxation, he normally plays tennis, table tennis, and logs a few miles after school His ambitions for the future still remain with time, however he hopes to major in computer management. LORNE W. SCHMIDT Originally from Vancouver, Lome has lived in Pen- tiction, Ottawa. Regina and now in Richmond. He came to V.C. this year from Dr Martin Le Boldus Separate High School in Pele a Bones, (Regina) Sask. He found it difficult to adjust to V.C. but he has survived, or has he? He plans to attend B.C.l.T. in electronic technology or in a construction related field of study. His probable fate though: — a stubble lumper in the wheatfields of Saskatchewan. IOSEPH ANDREW SOTHY Joe has been coming to College since grade 6 from I.C.S. Dunbar. He has been an honour student since coming to College, and he also participates in a wide variety of sports: soccer team, track and field, and money - making future MARK STEVEN TUBE GERHARD UNGER Mark has been coming to V.C. for the past three years from Richmond. He has been a member of the school band, playing the baritone and the clarinet. Outside of school Mark enjoys skiing, tennis, and music. His main goal after graduation is to further his education by attending a university to acquire a business degree. GREG WIRTZ Since coming to V.C. in 197 5. Greg has been an active participator in the soccer team, two school musicals and the intramural program. When not hitting the books or cheering for school teams. Greg can be found playing lust about any sport or whipping up hamburgers for his favourite restaurant. After he graduates. Greg plans to work and maybe go back to his home state, California, for a while 29
