MARK ERNEST HARTMAN Mark has been an active member at V.C. since the eighth grade. He participated in track, cross country, basketball and the L.F.A. fan club. His devotion to the school is amazing for he has to drive a Datsun everyday from the swamps of Richmond. Mark plans to further his education at a university and play basketball WILKIE K 0 Wilkie started his study at V.C. in grade I I He came from Hong Kong and enjoys College very much. He is also a member of the senior dorm. He spends most of his time doing research in his academic subjects. After class, you may find him jogging around the school, reading magazines in the library or cycling. After graduation, he’ll look for futher study in tne States and complete his education in business administration. ALAN HEMMING Al came to V.C. in grade 7 and since that time has participated in many school activities. In his |unior and senior years he played both Varsity football and Varsity basketball. Al is an honour role student and plans to continue his education at U.B.C. next fall. ROBERT JOSEPH JOHNSTONE Rob has blessed College with his presence for the past nine years. Throughout those nine long years, Rob has participated in various activities including football. Elementary soccer, intramurals, and the Collegian. When not found with camera in hand Rob enioys relaxing to good music, fishing, playing hockey, or playing tennis. Rob plans to further his education in the study of law or commerce at U.B.C. ROBERT H.M. LAU Robert, a native of Hong Kong has spent the last four years as a resident student at V.C.. Since grade nine he has enjoyed football, basketball, skiing, along with Go- Karting and computer programming. His biggest wish is to learn about every sport, every hobby, everything about anything. PAUL DAVIS Paul came to V.C. from O.L.P.H. 5 years ago. Since then he has participated in 3 musicals, the school band, intramurals, the Liturgy Committee and the Leadership Conference. Paul enjoys cheering at games, going to dances and getting the most out of life. He especially enjoys playing drums and listening to rock music. His plans for the future include a futher education at U.B.C.. Ray receiving Communion during a grade I 2 retreat. MICHAEL JOHN FORAN PAUL GRAHAM GIPPS Compliments of J. McNEILL ENTERPRISES LTD. Coming to V.C. five years ago from St. Augustines. Mike has taken part in intramurals, variety night, a musical, and the school band for four years. Mike, an original member of the HMMM club, can be found hammering away at his drums on the weekends or taking it easy at the Arbutus Club. In the future Mike plans to have a wild summer and continue his education. Paul started at College in 1976 coming from the back woods of Kemano B.C.. During the last four years, Paul has beem an active participant in the wrestling team, making the B.C. Finals last year. If Paul can ' t be found at the shooting range you ' ll find him chasing girls on the beach. After grad., Paul plans to work for a year before setting out as a millwright apprentice. 24

THOMAS ANTHONY LIASKAS Arriving here from Bayview Elementary in Grade 8. Tom immediately began his fruitful” football career. The styler has made his mark not only on the football field, but also on the Student Council. Among his favourite memories are Mr. Bell ' s French, Mr. Kazun ' s clear Chem. class and frequent trips to the end-zone. Tom plans to visit relatives in Greece, then enhance his education at university. ALEX LOBOZAR Alex came to College from North Van. in grade three. In his ten years at College, Alex has participated in many school activities, including two elementary school musicals. He has played on the V.C. hoop squad since grade eight, and when not limping, acted as Captain of Defense on the Fighting Irish football team. In his grad, year, Alex had the honour of being class president, his second time on Student Council. Alex hopes to enter law at U.B.C. and play football. ROB MACKINNON Rob arrived at College 5 years ago from near by Emily Carr Elementary School. Over the years he has par- ticipated in J.V. and Varsity football, track, and Student Council; being this years school vice-president. His future plans include capturing a sasquatch in the mountains of B.C., or failing this, post-secondary education at U.B.C. . MARCEL MATTE Tim Koch behind the wheel, wondering if his hot rod can take all the publicity. Making his arrival at V.C. in his graduating year, Marcel’s stay was brief but most enjoyable. As a border he spent most of his time around the school, yet he did enjoy the occasional game of basketball and golf. Marcel plans to further his education, possibly in the field of medicine.
