HONOURS IN LAST YEAR’S Brad Fritz FIRST HONOURS In 1968, eighty percent of the graduating class secured a pass standing in the University program. Of the boys who achieved this standing, ten received first class honours (eighty percent) in the scholarship exams and another thirteen received second class honours (seventy percent). Brad Fritz achieved ninety percent, this high an average being a first for College since the method for calculating honours grades was changed. Recipients of first class honours who attend accredited universities in our province are given three-quarters of their tuition by the government; those who obtain second class honours get one-half their tuition paid.
