O’SHASKI Ted, another immigrant from St. Augustine’s, enrolled at V.C. in his Sophomore year. Since then, he has given much of his time to the Glee Club, Pep Club and Pep Band. Ted’s ambition is to be a Commercial Pilot. WILLIAM B. ROBI Bill, one of our “patriarchs” and Latin scholar, entered V.C. way back in 1943. While in high school, Foot- ball becames his pet, and the Pep Club and Students’ Council profited much through his generous donation of time and service. JOSEPH F. MATOVIC The latest addition to the class of ’53, Joe quickly entered the College spirit by joining the Football ranks and the ' Glee Club, besides enthusias- tic participation in Intramurals. Am- bition: to be a dentist. S.“S“{3 rt ' rWS ,W Gke cEb and Pep Club. O the Glee ke up WILLIAM A. MURRAY Bill, Class Vice-President, came along in his Junior Year. Immediately en- tering the swing of things, he played Varsity football and Basketball with sidelines in Drama and the Glee Club. The pursuit of a teaching career will take Bill to UBC follow- ing graduation. DAVID R. NIGHTENGALE Dave, a boarder from Port Alberni, enrolled in V.C. in September, 1950. Since then, he has become one of our best Cheerleaders besides taking an active part in the newly-formed Students’ Council. Alter school, Dave intends to study Business. JOHN P. NIGHTINGALE One of first boarders, Jack, Dave’s brother, has contributed much in such activities as: Intramurals, Drama and the Pep Club. Business Admin- istration is the field Jack has chosen to be his career.

RONALD J. SCHUSS Since his enrollment at V.C. in his Freshman year, Ron has proven his congeniality and school spirit in such activities as Intramurals, Glee Club and Pep Club while still maintaining a steady position on the honour roll. Next year: Commerce. JAMES H. SHERLOCK Entering V.C. in January, ’48, Jim immediately entered into the spirit of the College. When taking part in the Glee Club, Intramurals, Boxing and the Pep Club, he has shown whole-hearted interest and co-opera- tion. His ambition: to be a lawyer. BRIAN A. THORNE Regina’s contribution to us is the Class Wit”. Brian’s big smile and ready answer are a familiar sight around our hallowed halls. He has participated in Intramurals besides dabbling in Dramatics. Brian’s am- bition: to be a movie projectionist. GARY J. TEMLETT Carv, who hails from St. Helen’s Par- ish, Burnaby, has been outstanding in Glee Club and Art as well as en- thusiastic participation in Football and Intramurals. Alter graduation, Cary intends to take up Forestry at UBC. MARVIN R. STORROW Marvin entered V.C. in his Freshman year and since then has taken part in many activities — Glee Club, Art, Pep Club and Intramurals. Seattle University and Electrical Engineer- ing are next on the list for “Marv”.
