A new organization made its debut in our high school this year. The Poster Club, initi ated by Mr. Forwalter, the new art instructor, was created to fill the constant demand for advertising material. In a flurry of paste, scissors, paper, and paint, the young artists were kept busy mak- ing posters for the bake sales. Homecoming, barbeque, penny lunches, movies, and various dances that were held throughout the year. Working on the scenery for Vocal Varieties provided the club members with valuable ex- perience in the Held of painting and design. Although the students did the work on these projects during their art period, they gained a great deal of experience from the practical application of the techniques they learned during class time.
