Sophomore Alan Rinard and fresh- man Karen Weirwille receive district medals for essays in American Legion Auxiliary Essay Contest. D. Student dance band makes music like crazy. E. Bob Ainsworth and Ron Ross open the Junior Town Meeting of the Air. F. Officiaters pose with geological collections which they dedicated. G. Electric guitar duo enters talent show. H. Jerry Baer emcees the Student Council Talent Show. I. Sue Baxter pantomines two hits. J. Listeners asks the panel questions. K. The Feeble Few go mad like Elvis. Ohio Northern University was the destina- tion of the students who were to vie for schol- arship honors. On Saturday, May 4, after an hour of intensive concentration, the scholars were in a gay and cheerful mood. A few weeks later, the students who ranked high in the dis- trict and in the state divisions received recog- nition for their achievements. Again, the Van Wert team had compiled an enviable record.
