PROM Medley in Fantasy was selected as the theme of the Junior-Senior Prom of 1954. The music was provided by Hal Kern and his orchestra. The stage was in a foil shell effect with Hoodlights of different colors shining on it. The ceiling was entwined with pink and aqua crepe paperg the black walls were decorated with objects of modern art. Situated in various places on the floor were three diamond disks, wrapped in foil, which were made to sparkle by Hoodlights. Dick Giessler acted as our master of ceremonies. junior class president, Danny Murphy, welcomed the Seniorsg and Dick Packer, Senior president, responded. The Girls' Barbershop Sextetten, consisting of Betty Lou Bolinger, Karen Brockert, Elaine Fast, Laurie Gold, Jean Purdy, and Shirley Zinsmeister, sang several novelty songsg and Marianne Edwards and Karen Brockert played two piano duets.
