Seven members of our class were elected to the National Honor Society as Juniors. They are: Joann Becker, Billie Jean Brubaker, Patty Debolt, Richard Finch, Elmer Hisey, Winnifred Schaadt, and Carolyn Wyatt. Yes, we are nearing the end of our journey, but before we leave Van Wert High School we want to thank all of our teachers and advisors for doing everything in their power to help and advise us. When we were Freshmen, back in the first year of the War, 1941, We looked forward to the Wonderful year of 1945, when We would achieve our greatest ambition to be Seniors. We have now reached the other side of the river with the green pastures, and we wonder if We have really gotten all of the enjoyment those years have offered to us. We have contributed our share of players to basketball, football, and boths boys' and girls' intramurals. Our basketball team also won the Sectional Class A Cham- pionship this eventful year of 1945.
