Vi'oonaow livanm'--lfiglzl Tackle Woolf' In the middle of the season VVood broke his nose. The guard he wore to proteet it made him look like one tough hombre, which he was. llis gigantic build helped us out of many a tough spot. IJAVID EVANS'Fl'7If!'V and Tackle Daz1e.', This is Dave's second year on the squad. Last year he broke his wrist in one of the first games played, so rlidn't do mueh, but this year he came through with a bang. At the beginning of the season he divided with Gribler at center. However he was transferred to tackle where he did the team much more good. MAURICE GRIBI,ER-'C871fFT Petef' Whenever Pete was in there spinning the ball baek from the center, the hackfield men were sure of getting their ball just where they wanted it. Pete was also very good on defensive work. Pete has two more years to play. VVl+lBS'l'ICR C0NNS7vflCkll' Hell Red's temper somewhat followed the color of his hair, inasmuch as he was chased out of one game for hitting his opponent. In spite of this, lied was a very fine player and was fighting all the time just as hard as he could for the glory of the team. MELVIN GARDNER-Guard Mel Mel has two more years with the squad. He did some very fine work at his position. VVe feel that Mel will develop into a mighty fine football player before he is through school. HAROLD HOGHE+G1lHTd Hoghe was a Sophomore this year. This gives him two more years to play. Harold did some mighty fine work this year but we think time will improve him quite a bit. We hope to see some mighty good playing from Hoghe in the next two years. Page T'Z4.'Pl1fy-IITII4
