Dear Van Horn Students, Each year it is my privilege to address you through your Falcon. I appreciate the opportunity to say in all sincerity, that I feel extremely fortunate to serve you and the Van Horn community. These are surely trying times in education. It con- tinues to become increasingly difficult to administer a good school when so many agencies are trying to be involved in decision making. You have a good school at Van Horn, and you are a good student body to work with. I hope that each of you has had a profitable year, and to you seniors I wish for you the very best in anything you undertake.

Dear Students, It is with a certain feeling of gratification that I write this note. This marks the end of two successful years at Van Horn, of which you have been an integral part, one way or another. Through good moments and bad moments I have tried to relate personal experiences and experiences of others to you in an effort that you might gain insight and be aware of many facets of life. Many of you seniors observed what others and I had to say and now graduation is here. Hopefully, what you gained here will be especially helpful in the formulation of your life's occupation and your positive contribution toward making this a better society in which to live.
