Blasting on through the year, the Vandalite gathers bright, pleasant memories for us all to flash back remember and treasure for a lifetime This flight consists of seven stages similar to that of a rocket leaving parts of Itself behind as it gains altitude and climbs to higher and higher goals Van High School has its own memories but added to those the sensors and other students have left this year with its many valuable humorous and delightful thoughts which are vividly rellved throughout the pages of the 1959 VANDALITE N ,J X xx ff ..F'.! .F X j ng gnLqnq.BXX ,X ss M bw X! ' X S gw QM X at 3k A2 Childhood itself is scarcely more lowly than a cheerful, kindly, sunshiny old age, quoted L. M. Child at one time. X Grade school plays a very important rolein the life of every child. It is then, with the drifting thoughts of starry-eyed children, that their minds are filled with zooming plans rocketing to higher pictures and goals which only they are capable of dreaming and imagining. Here, they tend to imitate their idols, their heroes, and here, school steps in and plays its part in imprinting its own special cue lines in their minds for their leading roles to be played later.
