The whole idea of investor-ownership of electric light and power companies be- gan when Thomas A. Edison and a group of investors financed his first power plant more than 80 years ago. Since then, investor-owned companies like ours have become an integral part of America's Free'Enterprise system. That explains why today we have at our finger- tips more electric power than any other country in the world. And it's this same Free Enterprise system that puts at your fingertips greater opportunity, greater expectation for success than can be hoped for by any other young people in the world. nqlcln P id LYQQSQ, APPALACHIAIV PUWEH' 60.
