THIRTY YEARS CONTRIBUTED TO EDUCATION To a man of great experience who has given thirty years of service to education in the Boone County Schools. He has taught twenty-nine years at Van High School and was principal at Wharton Junior High for one year. Mr. Bradley, a native of Boone County, graduated from Scott High School, West Virginia University with an A. B. Degree and from Marshall University with an M. A., Degree. He enjoys teaching as an instructor in our Commercial Department and has gained a reputation of par excellence in training students in secretarial and business courses. His many interests, other than teaching, include hunt- ing and fishing, working in his well equipped workshop and enjoying the out-of-doors on his recently acquired farm near Lory, Boone County. We the members of the Vancourier Staff are proud to dedicate this book to you, Mr. Ellis A. Bradley. DEDICATIO ,, : .. Who likes soap cake. Who said Mr. Time to work and not to play. Mr. Bradley Bradley enjoyed cutting the tin can cake entering fifth period Shorthand II class, covered with soap flake icing made, by Dear Sir ---- Miss Thompson, for the F. T. A. banquet?

.-. it MAN OF P RPOSE Our principal, Mr. William W. Windon, looks upon each student as an individual. I-Ie takes time to help each one realize and develop himself. It is in' this endeavor, as in all other areas under his guidance, that Mr. Windon is a successful and respected principal. Mr. Windon came to Van High School in 1964. Since that time his duties have grown to include plan- ning the curriculum, and representing the school in different organizations. We appreciate all the work he has done and the co-operation he has given our annual staff. :I ..:-ns IFIFIU1 11 WILLIAM W.
