Mike Fortner) Office Personnel Peggy Shinn High School Secretary Clodean Sinyard Bookkeeper Cleon Daniel Elementary Secretary Dedication i We the students of the yearbook staff wish to express our appreciation to Mr. Harley Martinelli, for his perseverance in helping us over the rough spots of putting together the yearbook. Without his efforts our job would have been a lot harder. For all that you have done, we would like to say, Thank You.” Harley Anthony Martinelli was born in Chicago, Illinois, in the year 1944. A war-baby, he was named after his mother’s older brother, who was missing in action at the time. A real “people person”, he graduat- ed high school in Brookfield, Missouri, where he was active on the football team. After high school, Harley, worked for a survey company in New Jersey for two years. He came home to Missouri where his parents lived by then. He took a job in Kansas City working in the film industry. While in that position, he went to a business college at night. In 1965, Harley married a red-head from Marceline, Missouri. That just happens to be the home of Walsworth Publishing Company. But he didn’t go to work at Walsworth until 1975, when he left a position in insurance industry to become an Account Executive with Walsworth. Mr. and Mrs. Martinelli like it here. The weather is mild and the mountains and valleys of Arkansas are beauti- ful in all the four seasons. They agree that they love the new friends they have made during their five year residence here. 4 Elementary Faculty Gene Aleshire 3-6: PE Sandy Barrett First Grade Maureen Dutton Kindergarten Teresa Fortner Chapter 1 Kathi Bollen Special Education Susan Dees Second Grade 6 Arlene Kesterson Fourth Grade Sandy Lee Second Grade Mary Jean Pate Third Grade Betty Walker G T Counselor Cindy Watkins Librarian K-12 Bob Wohlert Sixth Grade Jerry Ann Jewell Fifth Grade Dana Jordan Kindergarten High School Faculty Louis Alderman Art English Deborah Bowen Business David Campbell Physical Ed. From a Friend Farewell To Another Year The 1987-88 annual staff would like to congratulate the students and teaching staff on another fine year. We hope that everyone has had fun, learned, and accomplished what they set out to do. It would seem like everyone, including the teachers, are looking forward to summer vacation. From all of us to everyone else, we’re finally “BREAKIN AWAY IN 88”. 112
