May each of us, as students, parents, and school personnel, keep this purpose foremost in our minds and conduct our activities in a way that will promote the achievement of this goal. Principal Bottom Left - Jane Wright, Bookkeeper Bottom Right - No school system could operate efficiently without the good work and cooperation of the secretary, principal, and bookkeeper. Mrs. Smith daily answers phone calls, handles all school mail, and types most of the materials needed by the principal and superintendent. Mr. Atkins handles daily attendance records, discipline problems, and keeps study halls and P.E. classes. Stephen has been chosen by the high school faculty, who have selected him on the qualities of citizenship, scholarship, leadership, and school spirit. Stephen finishes his four years at Van-Cove High School as salutatorian of his class with a 3.8 grade point average. Stephen has been involved in FFA, and in basketball. He has also been elected to Who’s Who, and is a charter member of the Beta Club. All these qualities, achievements, and ability go together to make Stephen Walker Mr. Van-Cove High.
