Editors’ Messages As editor of the 1972-73 Hornet Handout, I had lots of fun trying to get the paper out on time, I want to thank the paper staff and all those who helped on the paper for their hard work and time spent on the Hornet Handout. I wish all the Hornet Handout editors to come all the fun and work. PAPER EDITOR CINDY DICKISON CINDY DICKISON AND KATHI WILKINS As editor of the 1973 yearbook I have enjoyed trying to compile a yearbook that would bring back realistic memories of this school year. The members of this staff and 1 have suffered through the tragedies and laughed together at our own misfortune, and through it all we enjoyed knowing that, no matter how many mistakes we made, it would all be just another year at Van-Cove High. The closing of the present school year makes the seventh mile-post of our march together for Van-Cove School. Your loyalty to the institution and your response to her worthy call have been deeply appreciated. As students of Van-Cove School, my deep interest in you moves me to want to leave with you a thought that might be an inspiration to you in years to come. You are moving up into a complex and troubled world. Your greatest responsibility is to work consistently and loyally with whatever assignment comes your way.
