Office Secretary Mrs. Ramona Smith Superintendent Mr. L. O. Hagler Superintendent's Message Another school year here at Van-Cove is rapidly coming to an end. Your loyalty to this institution and your ready response to her many calls have been deeply appreciated. In my nearly 30 years of teaching I have seen many young men and women come and go; and the greatest heritage I shall probably leave to posterity is the cherished dream that maybe somewhere in those almost 30 years I may have caused someone to turn the low road and follow the high road. Remember that it is no sin to dream, for the greatest empires and scientific accomp- lishments were first conceived and first constructed in the brains of men. When a dreamer has to fight for the sake of his dreams, he then rises above the petty thing of life and knows the freedom of accomplishment that lifts him and civilization to great heights. May the days of your years be kind to you.
