SENIOR C ASS GFFICERS CLASS HISTORY August 1956, we embarked upon that long journey called high school with 64 members aboard. Mrs. Ruby Cash and Mr. Glenn Pell were our advisors for this trying year. Under the leadership of class officers, Ben Reberger, Janet Turner, and Alberta LaForce we trudged through to our sophomore year. Our officers for this year were Davidj ack, Dick Ames and Vickie Hull. Mrs. Geneieve Blair and Mr. Glenn Pell were our advisors. We looked forward to this year as we were allowed to order our class rings. Some of our members had fallen by the way- side so we numbered only 52 but we were proceeding toward our goal. Our junior year was sponsored by Mrs. Merne Stitzle and Mr. Harold Spencer. Our class officers were David Jack, Ronnie Slack, Betty Woods and Dick Ames. This was a busy year, selling magazine subscriptions and having charge of the candy con- cessions, trying to raise money for our senior trip. We also were admiring our class rings which had been delivered. Our enrollment had diminished to 46 but we were still struggling on, Then that long awaited ymr arrived that we had set our sight on so long ago or so it seemed to us. Seniors at last. This year we had to really buckle down and study and finish raising the necessarymoney for our trip. Mrs. Merne Stitzle and Mr. Harold Spencer were still with us to the finish. The officers chosen to see us through were David Jack, Fred Hardesty, Max McQueen, Helen Green, LaDonna Lawson and Paul Stallcop. This was the year that our pictures would be placed in thehall of our beloved school for passersby to view. Only 40 stalwart students survived the journey. At last, commencement and that long walk with our caps and gowns on to receive our much awaited prize, our diploma, our passport to the future.
