ACTIVITIES OF THE SENIOR CLASS la 1945 we began our high school days under the sponsorship of .Miss Carmen Fagg and Brother Vail. What a delight to be in high school I We contributed very little. As sophomores, we continued our high school days under the leadership of Mr. Klutts. As Juniors we distinguished ourselves by being district champs in basketball. We were looking forward to a winning team in football the coming season. What athletes! The Seniors of 1948 were sponsored by Miss Joan Hunter and Mrs. Earl Jones. At the first of the year Billy Ray Edwards was elected president, Charleen Stuteville, vice-president; Charlene Richardson, secretary-treasurer; and J. D. Edwards, reporter. Our class colors are red and white; class flower is the red rose; and class song is “Till We Meet Again.’ Just before Halloween each class in high school elected a prince and princess to represent their class. Each was given only one day to raise money. We won by more than a hundred dollars and our representatives were presented at the carnival. This last year can never be forgotten by the class of 48. We feel that our class has brought honor to the school by bringing forth a district champion team. We firmly believe in our class motto: Tis the Mind That Makes the Body Rich. ' J t V
