j pay your buck, get a beanie and youlre on your way to being a freshman. y0u can t admittedly, freshmen week is a lot of mickey mousee buttoning, the annual trek through the wilderness of the dunes, and stunt night are faintly reminiscent of high schools g0 h0me but so are freshmen. besides the mickey mouse takes up the slack between placement tests and lectures on proper study habits . and staves off the homesickness for a little while. to be sure, aga 2n, freshmen week is more fun for girlseall prey for the horde of upperclass- men complete with fraternity pins, 21 fast line, and cars. for guys this is the first bitter lesson ofwhat it means to be a freshman. the funny thing isefreshmen week is our first taste of everything that we like and hate about valpoa and, as much as weld like to, we never quite forget it. never does the desire ten the part of upperclass malesy to return to the sometimes its like being four years old again and you canit find your halls of higher learning run as high as it does during freshman week, mother in the supermarket unfinished alumni engendered all kinds of confidence in the hordes of parents sending their daughters off into the cold cruel world for the first time.
