THIRD ROW: Eugene Panhorst, Dick Lange, Walt T hielhart, Bob Diersen, Ken Sommerfleld, Dave Snyder, Pete Kremz. Two Senior honor groups, Gown and Gavel and Alpha Pi Omega, made up the Student Progress Committee for this year. The committees main project was t to help in the student procurement program. The group also assisted the office of the New Student Services in getting information about prospective students. The general purpose of the group is to discuss prevalent campus problems and to recommend possible courses of action. 2O

He is both an administrative officer, being Dean of the College of Liberal Arts and Dean of the Faculty, and a popular teacher of history. Miss Krentz is the Dean's confldential secretary.
