PROLOGUE Knowing that the Record, as the yearbook of the University, should be representative of student thought and action, it has been the attempt of the staff to build the book around a basic campus theme. The chronology of events follows in the order of the seasons: fall, Winter, spring, and summer. If through this epitome of events, the 1933 Record brings back to its readers memories of days spent at Valparaiso, and Will serve as a bond in future years that Will draw us back to our alma mater, the aim of the staff Will have been fully realized.
