A quote from the paper will probably best describe this year's school paper. The school paper has gone thru several changes in its history. The names have been chosen in an attempt to reflect the state of the art in electronics for that particular era. A few of the names our academic predecessors came up with are the Spark Gap, Grid Leak, Keyer, and the more recent Modulator. The present name of the paper, 7400, commemorates this year of 1974 as being the 100th year of the school. The name also refers to the 7400 series of logic integrated circuits which is current state of the arte! 7400 Appears Seven Times

Valtechnian Staff Remi Adedoyin (business manager), Kent Merideth (asst. editor), Keith Blaney (copy), and Blaine Tippett (layout). Not pictured were Betsy Wood (Sales) and Tom Murray (asst. editor). The cover was designed by Jeff Pennington. Other artwork was done by John Groot. Pat Lindemann was our publishing consultant. The students decided that a yearbook should be published this year, in honor of the school's 100th year. So five fools and the photography club volunteered for the job. Deadlines were missed, sales were low, but the book was a success. (?) 21
