This is Valparaiso High School. The building itself hasn’t changed much in the past few years nor have the teachers. They still guide the faltering steps of young people with the patience and per- severance that comes from years of experience. The students themselves haven’t changed much. They still make endless journeys around the halls before school begins. Dances, clubs, and sports are as aliuays the main source of enjoyment for teens at VHS. The burden of homework still presents them with seemingly insoluble problems. The same friendliness, laughter, and excitement that characterizes our school is present from eight in the morning, ivhen 978 students scurry to their classes, till the ringing of the three o’clock bell, telling them that another school day has passed. Yes, this is VHS, our home away from home, and xue like it.
