Row 3: Mrs. Ruth Froberg, sponsor; S. Krause, S. Stoltz, J. Flowers, Mrs. Carolyn Bush, sponsor. Y-Teens opened its membership drive on October 3. Prospective members were invited to the Mixing Bowl held in the cafeteria. After the impressive Candle-Light Service, Y-Teeners began their work in the service-minded organization. In November members participated in a paper drive to collect funds for the year’s activities. As co-sponsor of the Christ- mas Formal, Y-Teens was in charge of the bids, band, entrance, center, refreshments, and ticket sales. The King of Hearts Dance was also sponsored by the club to raise money for the Heart Fund. On St. Patrick’s Day Y-Teeners gave t he children of the Shults-Lewis Children’s Home a special treat by giving them a party. A year of fun and service was brought to a close by the Mother-Daughter Banquet. Plans for next year were begun with the choice of two girls for Y-Teen summer camp. Pastor Edward Wcssling gives entertaining yet thought-pro- voking talk on religion and morals of teen-agers at the Y-Teens Induction. 29
