The girls were selected by members of the Viking varsity and reserve teams. The Court was escorted on the field in two convertibles and each girl re- ceived a pretty bouquet. Principal King Telle emceed at the crowning ceremony. Captain Richard Small crowned Queen Gertrude and kissed her. Then as the meet proceeded, the court handed out the winning ribbons.
