There, President Jane Van Senus and Secretary Nancy Phillipslearn- ed many new ideas for improving the club. Since one of the main purposes of the Y- Teens is to render service, the members spon- sored their a nn ual Can-Can Dance to which each girl brought two cans of food, which were given to needy families. Assisting in the school cafeteria was a service of the club, and mak- ing favors for hospital patients was still another. Members also went Christmas caroling to homes of shut-ins during the holiday season. Afte r beginning the year with a get-ac- quainted party, the members planned an induc- tion ceremony in wh ich the new officers and members became installed. A series ofother in- teresting activities followed throughout the year and were climaxed at the spring Mother-Daugh- ter Banquet.
