ACTION OF THE STORY To be of help and service at all times is the slogan of th'e Y-Teen Organization at Valpo. The girls participating in the activi- ties of the club have proved to be ot service both around the school and in public life. Some of these services include such activi- ties as helping pass out the food and doing the dishes at noon tor the hot lunch pro- gram, sending a basket of food to a needy family at Thanksgiving or Christmas, and selling T B seals for two weeks each Decem- ber. At each meeting, which is held on the second and fourth Monday ot each month at three o'clock, some form of entertainment is usually provided. This en- tertainment consists of such things of inter- est as a home decorator or a florist showing how to make corsages. The activity that is enjoyed most by the members is the custom ot going to a church service as a group. At the beginning ot each year, a representative or representa- tives, as is the case in the senior homeroom, are elected.
