Time has come for me to speak out.- There was an- idea about a draft counselor. There was a survey taken a while ago and I Hear the results were in favor of having one. Fine. The survey was good, but what has happened since then? Not too much, though I hear it's going through the channels now, in other words going through the red tape, ' There is no reason for such a long delay. While the garbage goes on, your eighteenth birthday iscoming close. The law requires that at eighteen you must register for the draft. The draft is something you have no idea about. Do you know the meanings of the different classifications? No? Do you know your rights under the draft? Your rights - something the U.S. Constitution says everyone is entitled to whether you're white, black, regents or non-regents. This is supposed to make up a democracy, as this school should be.
