tenth grade Spurred on by the momentous knowledge that they are officially out of junior high, the sophomores enter their year with a new burst of enthusiasm. Endowed with many new privileges including attend- ing senior high assemblies, competing in the one-act play contest, and graduating from freshman to I.V. sports, sophomores also have a sec- Q 5:5551 :' U ggi? i ri- Q 2, ond attempt at the float parade. The tenth grade was especially thrilled with this event because they proudly claimed first prize for their magnificent float, I Dream of Jeannie. To remind them of their diligent efforts, the sophomores built a minitiature replica for dis- play in the showcase. Along with the new-found activities, the grade has to tackle more complex subject matter. Sophomores, inebriated with formaldyhyde, take sadistic delight in dissecting defenseless frogs, and eating lunch the following period. And, if you notice a sophomore turning pre- maturely gray, it's probably due to the anxiety of trying to remember 600 dates for the World History Regents. So keep at it, sophomores.
