Gold, Spomar The tests that you studied for, the books that you actually read and the extra-curricular activities that you slaved for, all were worth it, the National Honor Society chose you as an outstanding Spartan. The Honor Society is not only an honorary organization, but also a hard-working one. The tutorial service available to all North High students, was or- ganized by Secretary Barbara Casino and sponsor Mrs. Selma Gold, and was provided by Honor Society members. To make the admission requirements uniform throughout the district, the Spartan Chapter was forced to lower the 90W requirement for jun- iors to an 8515 average. Because of this change, North High now has the largest membership in its history.

Mltch Blair Pfeildenf Shelly Rotner Hzstorm For those sophomores juniors and seniors who have dis- tinguished themselves by hard work and loyal service, Green Key, sponsored by Miss Lehman and Miss Patterson, offers a chance to do more hard work and serve even more loyally. Arranging positions and guiding their members, the gov- erning body of Green Key includes: President Mitch Blair, Vice-President jon Ciner, Secretary Clare Guzzo and His- torian Shelley Rotner. The Key also recognizes the ten seniors who have most faithfully served North by honoring them at the annual awards assembly. Most students chosen to serve as Green Key members are unaware of the fringe benefits involved in this honor.
