5 , ul .1 Linda Balogh, Hirloriarz, Richard Horowitz, Preridem, Richard Bentley, Treasurer, Karen Schonberg, Secreiafy, Doug Falk, Vice-President, Mr. Bernard Artzt, Adairor. student council xx As the excitement of the campaign between P.L.A.N. and Thurnb's Up subsided, the new Student Council, led by President Richie Horowitz and Vice-President Doug Falk, came up with some 'unique ideas for re- awakening school spirit. They added spark to football . games by re-establishing the forgotten Booster Club and included an amusing touch by initiating male cheer- leaders. Making lunch time just a little more pleasant, Treasurer Dick Bentley provided the funds so that the Student Council could offer hot chocolate and coffee, as well as a fruit machine. Not forgetting the faculty, secretary Karen Schonberg and historian Linda Balogh were charming hostesses at the tea held for 'new teachers. In the midst of all these innovations the Student Council continued to provide financial support for our adopted Filipino orphan, Hermalinda Solis. Linda Balogh and Dickie Bentley get in some work between play. Y I 'Q
