Principal Busy-that word aptly described Dr. John Cleary this year. The job of principal was a demanding one. The principal had to be an expert on administration and school policy. This past year proved to be even more demanding with the combination of the middle and high school to form Valley Park Secondary School. Dr. Cleary worked constantly to promote school spirit and student participation. He strived toward maintaining the academic atmosphere which was necessary for an interested and informed student body. Dr. Cleary was the person immediately responsible in all matters per- taining to the school. He was willing to help in any way he could to make the year a good and happy one.
