Principal Busy-that word aptly described Dr. John Cleary this year. The job of principal was a demanding one. The principal had to be an expert on administration and school policy. This past year proved to be even more demanding with the combination of the middle and high school to form Valley Park Secondary School. Dr. Cleary worked constantly to promote school spirit and student participation. He strived toward maintaining the academic atmosphere which was necessary for an interested and informed student body. Dr. Cleary was the person immediately responsible in all matters per- taining to the school. He was willing to help in any way he could to make the year a good and happy one. SITTING (1 to R): Mr. Ronald Heinemann, Mr. Omar Feeler, Mr. Charles Menley. STANDING (L to R): Mr. James Gregory, Mr. Joseph Harrington. NOT PICTURED: Mr. Norman Colter. Board Of Education SUPERINTENDENT Dr. William Rebore has been employed in the Val- ley Park School System for eleven years. He has been both teacher and principal. It was in 1977 that he be- came Superintendent. Some of Dr. Rebore's tasks in- cluded making decisions, understanding current trends, and having personal vision. Along with the help of the Board of Education, he worked to regulate the activities of all the schools in the Valley Park School System. This past year Dr. Rebore and Dr. Cleary worked hard on the reorganiza- tion of the secondary school program. This entailed the rearrangement of faculty and class room assign- ments. Most of Dr. Rebore's work seemed to be be- hind the scenes, yet he performed work necessary for the smooth running of the Valley Park School District. Dr. William Rebore, Superintendent. 6
