CLASS OFFICERS: (1. to r.) D. Dean, vice-president; D. Kershner, presi- CLASS FAVORITES: Kathy Gram and David dent; and G. Jenkins, secretary-treasurer; sponsors, Mrs. Neff and Mr. Kershner. Grove. The Twelfth Year We didn’t think we’d make it, But here we are at last; Waiting to get our diplomas And thinking of things gone past. Our classes are over; our books are closed, And now our future we face. We have the knowledge to meet our needs And to walk in a steady pace. As we walk the halls of our school We think of the memorable years, Of the contests, losses, and victories; Of all our laughter and tears. Now that we won’t be walking these halls, We find we’re not eager to leave, We’re ready to take what the future will give; And endeavor in what we believe. Think of the many remarkable times: The ones we’ve had in school, So much fun is to be remembered And knowledge was the simple tool. So to the students that yet remain, Keep up the spirit; it’s not too late, Because these halls will never hear again The class of ’68. — Glenda Jenkins 16
