PHYLLIS LEE BRINKLEY f JOHN SAMUEL BOGAN DEBORAH ANN BOWERS As we think back to five years ago when we started to Valley, many memories come to us. We remember seventy-six bewil¬ dered students wandering through the halls. We were not sure where ' to go or what to do. The school seemed large to us, and it took time to become adjusted. Soon, however, we were in the full swing of lessons and school activities. Our class officers were Jim Shifflett, president; Billy Hodge, vice-president; Carol Pullin, treasurer. The first exciting moment was the election of Brenda Winebriner as our football candidate. We were initiated by the seniors and entertained at a Sadie Hawkins Dance.
