Sponsor Mrs. Jean Siple CLASS POEM As we stand within these famous halls, And cast our eyes upon the floor; We realize that in future years, These famous walls we'll see no more. We may not think 'till later years, Our happiest days were spent right here; But as we go from this proud school, Our heads filled with knowledge and our hearts with To all our teachers we give heart felt thanks, For years and years their brains they rack; Through years of work, of worry, and of strain, They have set us finally on the track. In this fine county though it be quite small, There is someone else whom we should thank; Our parents through worry and debt, Have kept our minds from being blank. As we go out from dear old Valley, Into the world to meet our goal; Some will go ahead and some will not, But we'll remember the things that we've been told. By P. C.
