The Board of Education, composed of dedicated citizens, willingly give precious time and effort to improve our unit schools. They attend regular meeting to form school policies and de- cide how to spend the taxpayer's dollar. Theirs is the responsibility for maintaining a qualified faculty. Administration H. E. WOOD - Superintendent Culver-Stock ton, B.S. University of Missouri, M.A. J. B. RODEFFER - Principal Monmouth College, B.S. Western Illinois State College, M.A Although the Board of Education formulates the policies for the Valley schools, very little would be accomplished unless these policies were carried through by Mr. H. E. Wood, superintend- ent, and Mr. J. B. Rodeffer, principal. Mr. Wood, who has been in the teaching profession for thirty-six years, works hard to keep the unit in running order. This is his thirteenth year at Valley, the last five of which he has been superintendent. Mr. Rodeffer, always ready to advise and help the students at Valley, does an efficient job of running the high school. He, in addition to his duties as principal, teaches Algebra II and physics.
