Understanding: Human Relations i l First row: Dee Dee Scott, Rhonda McClary, Louis Boyd, Regina Lewis and Carrie Hester Seated Johnny McClaine Second row Terry Wade, Tyrone Thompson, Rachel Frazier, Rodney Lester, Ms. Peyton Kurt Torlselson and Ronnie Fuller 240 Organizations The purpose of the Human Relations Club was to promote communication and understanding among students of other races, religions, and cultures. They had bowl-a-thons, candy sales, a black history banquet and fashion show. They sup- ported all school functions and sponsored Black History Week. The Human Relations Club offers scholarships for SAT's and ACT's scores. The club also offered ap- plication fees. The officers were Tyrone Thompson, president, Rachel Frazier, secretary, Ronnie Fuller, vice presi- dent, Arlene Davis, treasurer, and Dee Dee Scott, sgt.-at-arms.
