Students and faculty seemed to have renewed enthusiasm in support of school activities and the pursuit of excellence in the classroom. This has made being at Valley exciting and rewarding. Zone and State championships in sports, special awards and recognition in the arts and for academic achieve- ment have provided tangible proof of Valley's renewal. I am proud of the achievement of faculty and students and count it to be a privilege to be the principal of a school where we have established excellence as a tradition.
